Event Capacity = the maximum amount of tickets available for your entire event. We will not sell any combination of tickets past this number.

Tickets Available = the amount of tickets available for a particular ticket type.

Ticket Group Capacity = the combined maximum of tickets that can be sold for tickets that belong to the group.

Sticky Tickets is designed so you do not exceed your event capacity. So for example, if the maximum amount of tickets you can sell is 200 (event capacity) and you have three different ticket types (Adult, Child and Concession) but you don’t mind how many you sell of each type – then the tickets available for each type can be set to 200. Sticky Tickets will not sell any combination of tickets past the total event capacity of 200.

Example:
Event Capacity = 200

Ticket Types

Adult = 200

Child = 200

Concession = 200

Sticky Tickets is designed to not sell past the event capacity

Ticket Group

Child

Concession
Ticket Group Capacity = 100

In this scenario if a purchaser is buying a ticket that belongs to a ticket group the system checks all capacities (Individual, Group and Event) if any one of the capacities are exhausted then the ticket cannot be bought.
