Facebook Pixel Integration

Overview

The Facebook pixel is a tool to track visitor activity on a certain web page, which can help build advertisements for specific audiences on Facebook. It  can also be used to monitor the number of visitors who interact with a specific page.

Sticky Tickets provides an option to specify which part of the event details / check out page you want to monitor. We also utilise the pixel event codes to categorise each page activity for a more comprehensive analysis. The following are the options:

  1. Event Landing Page - Calls pixel ‘ViewContent’ event for every page visit
    - It will also send the event name and page in the parameters.

  2. Buy Tickets Page - Calls pixel ‘ViewContent’ event for every page visit.
-It will also send the event name and page in the parameters.

  3. Purchaser Details Page - Calls pixel ‘InitiateCheckout’ event for every page visit
-It will also send the number of tickets, the total cost of the purchasers selected tickets.

  4. Order Success Page - Calls pixel ‘Purchase’ event for every order purchase succession.
    - It will also send the number of tickets, the total cost of the purchasers selected tickets.

  5. All Pages - Calls all pixel events covered from #1-4.

  6. None - No pixel event calls.

FAQ

  1. I have the whole JavaScript pixel code. Where can I find the pixel ID?

    1. Facebook provides you with the whole JavaScript code to embed it to the page’s HTML script. The Sticky Tickets website only needs the pixel ID, and it will take care of the rest. The ID is in a numerical format and can be found in the provided screenshots below. Copy the ID and paste it in the Pixel ID text box found in the Organiser > Integrations > Facebook Pixel
